About Us
Establishing a new legacy for families.
Springs Holistic Center was birth from the inspiration of children and adolescents that proved to be resilient under enormous emotional and financial constraints. It was observed that clients who received additional services, coupled with Mental Health Counseling, thrived, and achieved more change than clients without them. Springs was created to provide opportunities to individuals who are limited without them.
Can a rural community with financial constraints become wealthy? Springs believes, Yes! Wealth includes our creative abilities, spiritual knowledge, ideas, character, health, relationships, peace of mind and contentment. Wealth is always an inward realization before it is an outward manifestation. Through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other tools used to teach and guide the way clients see and view their future, change can be achieved.
How will the system work?
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."
Author Lee Jenkins states, “Problems can never be solved from the outside-in, but only from the inside-out. Poverty is never corrected by a redistribution of wealth, but by a transformation of people.” Springs provides opportunity (tools and resources) for children and adolescents ages 5-19 (and their immediate family/support mechanism). From a holistic point of view; considering the mind, body and spirit; Springs will provide mental health counseling, nutrition, fitness, financial planning, tutoring, extra-curricular activities, parenting classes, and individual needs based on a holistic individualized plan.
